You don't have to be an A/V geek to enjoy BYOP!
BYOP happens about once a month downstairs at the Alibi Room.
It is a meeting place and incubator for the Seattle arts
community.
February's theme is homemade fitness videos (left),
but work in other veins is also welcome and encouraged.
While there's an emphasis on sharing 8&16 mm films on old projectors,
anyone can come down to watch or share art in other media.
VHS tapes, DVDs, and photo CDs of original work can be shown
on our in-house digital projector. Limit is 10 minutes or less.
(Of course, if there's no one waiting, longer works are acceptable.)
DJs can bring laptops or vinyl to spin on our house gear.
Musicians can plug into our live board and jam to the visuals.
The evening is unstructured--no stage, no spotlight, no lineup.
We only ask that everyone shows respect and shares the space.
